About Me

Welcome, I'm Melanie founder of Room to Exhale, a Clinical perfusionist, qualified transformational coach, NLP practitioner, Schwartz round facilitator and Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) Instructor. I have worked in the NHS for several years. I have always had a passion for wellbeing and in particular organisational wellbeing within the public sector, healthcare and Social care professionals along with the frontline workforce, especially those working in high pressured environments which, is fast pasted and busy.
As a wellbeing Advocate, and a qualified coach, over the years, I have completed an MSc in Organisational Psychology and developed my coaching skills empowering groups and individuals to transform themselves to have the confidence to be the best they can be and how they want to.
After a period of receiving workplace bullying and discovering I was on the path to burnout. I decided to use my lived experience as well as educational knowledge and founded Room to Exhale. Creating a bespoke solution focused platform for business and individuals, allowing space for others to be able to have open non-judgmental conversations about their mental wellness & wellbeing in the workplace or individually.
We aim to assist organisations in bridging the gap with workforce absenteeism, by taking a holistic approach through coaching to get to the root cause of the problem equipping the individuals with skills to return to the workforce.
